Wilma Aileen Rupert, 90, of Jerome, Idaho passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018. She was born March 14, 1927 in Manes, Missouri to Harve and Pearl Shropshire.
Wilma married Don Rupert on June 28, 1948 in Jerome, Idaho. She and Don operated Don's Conoco in Jerome for over 30 years.
Wilma and Don were members of Jerome Rural Fire Department where Don was Fire Chief for many years. They enjoyed square dancing, camping, bowling, and visiting various Idaho hot springs. Wilma was a master rose gardener and cared for over 20 rose varieties in her yard. She was a faithful member of the Catholic church.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; children, Danny Rupert and Carolyn (Rupert) Reddick; and brothers, Roland and Willard Shropshire.
She is survived by her brother, Randall (Joy) Shropshire; sisters-in-law, Maxine and Shirley; son-in-law, Glenn Reddick; grandchildren, Chad, Angelina, and Stacey; and numerous great grandchildren and extended family.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Friday, March 16, 2108 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 216 2nd Ave E, Jerome, with additional viewing beginning at 10:00 am. Graveside services will conclude at Jerome Cemetery.
