William Herbert Kestle

William Herbert Kestle, a dedicated production farmer and passionate individual, passed away peacefully in his hometown of Jerome, Idaho, on November 8, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on February 14, 1939, in Jerome, he spent his life contributing to the agricultural landscape of the region and was particularly known for his work for Simplot.

In addition to his career, Bill served his country honorably in the United States Navy. This experience shaped his values and enduring commitment to hard work and community service. He was truly a family man at heart, cherishing the moments he spent with his loved ones.

Bill had a zest for life that extended beyond his professional pursuits. He enjoyed hobbies such as golfing, fishing, and taking side-by-side rides, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors. His warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and his memory will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his three children, Jim, Jerry, and John Kestle, who carry forward his legacy and values. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlotte; and his parents.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 2, 2024, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
