Verl Bench

Jerome- Verl C Bench, 71, of Jerome, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on April 8, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in the covenant on July 26, 1943, to Leslie and Caroline Clegg Bench. Verl is survived by his wife of 47-years, Colleen Rawson Bench and five children; Tammy Lorcher of Nampa, Brenda (Marty) Brewer of Rupert, David (Tracy) Bench of Heyburn, Kim Burlington of Jerome and Justin (Julie) Bench of Filer; He is also survived by two sisters, three brothers, 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 0ne great-great-grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

A visitation will be held Monday evening, April 13, 2015 , at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 PM . Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM , Tuesday April 14, 2015, in the Jerome LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 825 East Avenue B, Jerome, with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Jerome Cemetery.
