Terri Lynn Lewis, 67, passed away March 9, 2025, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley surrounded by her family. Terri was born February 19, 1958, to Garlene and Hershel Shook. The first born of three children.
Terri started a lifelong career at St. Benedict’s at the age of 16 as a dietary aid. She took a short break to attend two semesters of college in Pocatello, Idaho. She soon decided school wasn’t for her and returned to Jerome where she continued her career at St. Ben’s, working for the next 42 years. First, in the kitchen, then becoming a dialysis tech, later becoming a phlebotomist where her many patients loved her.
In 1978, Terri welcomed her first born daughter, Jami. She found love and marriage with LeRoy Lewis in 1983. Lindsey and Michael soon joined their family. Terri and LeRoy divorced in 2002 but remained friends and together enjoyed their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Mom will be remembered by her laugh. She had many lifelong friendships. Everyone she met loved her jokes, laughter, and smile. She will be missed by all.
Terri was preceded in death by her father, Hershel; brother, Richard Shook; and nephew, Kolton Shook. She is survived by her mother, Garlene Glick; sister, Connie Shook; three children, Jami (Ricky) Hayes, Lindsey Lewis, and Michael Lewis; two nieces, Britney Limke and Karlee Shook, and one nephew, Kamron Shook. Terri has seven grandchildren: Stacy (James) Falconburg, Christopher (Lily) Hayes, Aspen (Nathan) Suhr, Ashlyn Lewis-Olsen, Kamdyn Lewis, Kaidynce Kimble, and Kaysen Smith; and six great grandchildren: Mea, Declan, Easton, Cyrus, Barrett, and Maven.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Monday, March 17, 2025 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Farnsworth Mortuary.
The family would like to thank St Luke’s Magic Valley doctors, nursing, and staff for all the loving care and attention given to Terri Lewis during her last days of life.
