Susan was born May 5, 1954 to David and Barbara Kime in Dallas, Oregon. Susan was the third born into a family that would eventually total seven children. She graduated from McNary High School in Keizer, Oregon in 1972 and began her life as a fun loving independent woman of the 70’s. Not long after that she met her husband Clyde in Salem, Oregon who was at that time stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington. On a dare Clyde asked Susan out on a date and the rest from that point is history. Clyde and Susan were married in 1974 while living in Salem and soon after moved to Spokane, Washington to start their adventurous lives at Fairchild Air Force Base and begin raising their eldest son Fred.
Clyde moved the family to Twin Falls in 1979 while he was with the Idaho Air National Guard and this is when Susan began her career as an early education teacher. A few years after, Susan settled down in Jerome, Idaho where she added to her family with her next son, James and 7 years later her daughter, Lucinda.
Susan focused on raising her family the best she could and continued her career as an early childhood educator at The Early Childhood Learning Center and then continuing on her career path to the College of Southern Idaho which ended with her retirement after 31 years as an educator of the next generation.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, David W. Kime; and brothers, Ricky and Randy Kime.
Susan is survived by her husband Clyde; her three children, Fred, James, and Lucinda; and nine grandchildren; her mother, Barbara; sister, Debbie Metcalf; brother, Wally Kime; brother, Kenny Kime, and sister, Tina Jolly.
