Susan Henderson

Twin Falls- Susan Henderson, 66, of Twin Falls, passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014, in Twin Falls.  She was born August 1, 1948, in Twin Falls, the daughter of George Beal Cappel and Eileen June Bracken Cappel.  Susan was raised in Twin Falls and graduated from Twin Falls High School.  She spent most of her working life at the Jerome and Twin Falls School Districts. She was Director of Food Service for Twin Falls schools for 27 years. Susan’s primary mission in life was to feed the children and she did so passionately. She loved cooking, eating potato chips and watching Lifetime television network.  Her world revolved around her child ren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends, especially Jayne.

Susan is survived by her husband, Steve Henderson; children, Chris Delucia, Anna Collins, Kristy (Jim) West, Andrea (Adam) Corbin, and Sherrie (Bill) Taylor; her grandchildren, Anthony, Adrian, Kiley, Joel (Stephanie), Miranda, Ashton, Eric (Cynthea), Paige, Kelsey, Jacob, Jarad, Kayleigh (Mike), Emilee, Adam and Owen; her great-grandchildren, Christian and Kilynn; her sisters-in-law, Sally Cappel and Venita Cappel Philbrick; two aunts, Madeline and Judy; and many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gary and George "Andy"; her niece, Jeanette "Sissy"; and her faithful dog, Zeke.

A visitation will be held Sunday evening, September 14, 2014, at Farnsworth Mortuary Chapel, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 PM .  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday September 15, 2014 , also at Farnsworth Mortuary with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls.
