Steve Erwin Williams

Steve E. Williams was born on March 28, 1940 in Soda Springs Idaho to Jared and Mildred Williams. He was the middle child with a big sister Sharon and a little brother Ralph. He was raised in Wendell, Idaho where his father ran Williams Builders and Farms Supply.

He graduated from Wendell High School in 1958. He moved to Boise to attend business school. While there he and his cousin decided to join the Army. He served for 6 years. Once out of the Army, he decided to attend Boise Jr. College. When he went to sign up, he found out he must wait for the next semester to start before he could attend.

He moved in with his sister in Jerome, Idaho until school started. This is when he met his future wife, Twila Adams. They met at a Texaco Gas station where he worked. They were married on March 28. 1963 in Jerome Idaho, his birthday. He often joked he was married on his birthday so he would not forget their anniversary. They moved to Boise and he attended Boise Jr. College.

In 1966, they moved to the Seattle area so Steve could work for Boeing. He worked for Boeing for several years until he decided to quit and return to the family business, the lumberyard business. He worked until he retired in 2008.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and road trips. He spent the last few years traveling with his wife, working around the house, and enjoying his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jared and Mildred Williams; his sister, Sharon, her husband, Lewis Davis, and their son Jeff. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Twila; sons, Hobe andTravis, daughter in law Jessica, granddaughter Kristina, great grandson Greyson and brother Ralph.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Graveside service will conclude at Jerome Cemetery.
