Skylar Gill

Richfield- Skylar Shane Gill, 27, of Richfield, passed away Friday October 30, 2015, at Smiley Creek.  He was born July 23, 1988, in Jerome, Idaho, the son of Craig and Dawn Gill.  Skylar was raised in Richfield and attended school there.  He graduated from Juniper Hills High School in 2007.  Skylar was full of energy and enjoyed life to the fullest.  As a young child, he rode horses and worked on his aunt and uncle's ranch.  He loved horses and helped break his own horse, "Clyde", and drove his own mini horse chariot team, "Lil' Titans."  He enjoyed camping and the annual family hunting trip to Stanley.  Skylar loved being outdoors, fishing and drinking beer with his brothers.  He was also a very talented artist.

Skylar is survived by his father and stepmother, Craig and Jackie Gill and his mother, Dawn Krueger Gill; his sister, Mackenzie; his brothers, Levie, Wyatt and Ian; grandparents, Rich and Patty Gill, Gary and Roberta Jones and Linda and Doug Briscoe.  He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Krueger and his aunt Kathy Johnson and uncle Rod Johnson.

A visitation will be held Friday evening, November 6, 2015 , at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 PM.  Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM , Saturday November 7, 2015 , at the Richfield Community Church, 410 South Main Street, Richfield, Idaho, with Pastor Dan Renz officiating.  Interment will follow in the Richfield Cemetery.
