Sheyenne McKayla Hadden Schaer

Sheyenne McKayla (Hadden) Schaer, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 29. 

Sheyenne was born in Jerome, Idaho, on July 29, 1995. Her early years were spent in Shoshone, Boise, and Challis until her family returned to Shoshone, where she graduated from Shoshone High School. Sheyenne’s youth was spent playing volleyball and basketball, showing dogs, pigs, and horses in 4-H, and competing in rodeo.

After high school, Sheyenne continued her education at the College of Southern Idaho and Nightingale College, working toward her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also had her Real Estate License and worked with her Grandpa Craig at Hadden Reality.

Sheyenne loved spending time with her boys, spoiling them, and taking them on adventures. Her bubbly personality made everything memorable, from breakfast dates to working cows. She was passionate, stubborn, and ambitious; she was loved deeply and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

Sheyenne is survived by her children, Paxton and Brooks; parents, Brooker and Alejandrina Hadden, and Traci Hadden; brothers, Blue and his wife, Analisa Torres Hadden; and Stetson; grandma, Jill Faulhaber; grandpa, Craig Hadden; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A viewing will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 507 N Greenwood Street, Shoshone, Idaho. The funeral will be Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with a viewing beginning at 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Shoshone. Graveside service will conclude at Shoshone Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to join us for dinner at the church following the service. 

Although Sheyenne was taken too soon, her smile and competitive spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
