Sandra June Banfill, age 64, passed peacefully away at River Rock Caring Facility in Buhl, Idaho, on August 7, 2020. She was born to her loving parents, Loren Smith and Betty Small, in Des Moines, Iowa on November 11, 1955. She eventually moved to Idaho, where she had two beautiful children, Angela and Daniel, and lived happily close to her family and friends.
She loved arts and crafts, and had great joy making beautiful dream catchers, and decorating her home with butterflies. She was fascinated with the paranormal, and often spent her time watching "Ghost Hunters," and capturing orbs within her home in pictures and sharing them with friends to enjoy. She loved camping, fishing, being out in nature and adored spending time with family and hosting family reunions.
She was a strong, beautiful, kind, and loving soul. She lit up the world with her smile, and she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind and be there for her family in times of need. She always made family most important in her life, giving anything and everything to ensure they were happy and loved. Her spirit was beautiful and free, inside and out, just like the gorgeous butterflies she will be remembered as, flying high up in heaven in fields overflowing with breathtaking flowers, alongside her mother, father and brothers Loren, Jack, Steve and her sister, Elee.
She is survived by her sister, Connie; her daughter, Angela; her son, Daniel; her grandchildren, Skyler, Nitasha, Denice, William, and Chris; her great grandchildren, Levi, Onyx, Tamira, Conner; and many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
