Salvador Garcia, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvador Garcia, Jr. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Salvador was born on January 1, 1987, in Huntington Park, California. He was taken from us far too soon on September 30, 2023, in Jerome, Idaho.

Salvador will always be remembered for his bright spirit and infectious laughter. He had a way of lighting up any room he entered and bringing joy to those around him. His favorite saying, "Oh no, can't have that!", will forever echo in our memories and remind us of his zest for life.

After graduating from high school, Salvador pursued a career in construction. He was dedicated to his craft and always took great pride in his work. His newest endeavor at the Northside Canal Company in Jerome, Idaho showcased his unique skills and commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, Salvador had many passions and interests that brought him immense joy. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed rock climbing as a way to challenge himself. On quieter days, he found solace in his coin collecting hobby. Additionally, Salvador loved to let loose and have fun by belting out tunes at karaoke nights.

Salvador also cherished moments spent with loved ones. Whether it was having a beer or shooting pool with friends, he treasured these times together. Family BBQs were especially precious to him as they allowed him to create lasting memories with his loved ones.

Salvador leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his mother, Linda Zacarias; father, Salvador Garcia Sr., and stepmother Lourdes Cabrera; and siblings, Monica Galvez, Erica Lara, Silvia Garcia, Rene Garcia, Crystal Zacarias, Marylee Rios, Richard Garcia, Eric Garcia, Denise Garcia, Cindy Garcia, and Andy Garcia.

In honor of Salvador's life, a viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome, Idaho.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Farnsworth Mortuary. Graveside service will conclude at Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls, Idaho.
