Rulon Thompson

JEROME - Rulen Lyle Thompson of Jerome, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the age of 83, surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nellie; daughter Patricia; parents, John and Nancy; as well as all 12 of his siblings. He is survived by his children, Merlene Crumbliss, Jan Vollaire, Michael Thompson, Brenda Evers, Tina Clifton and Steve Thompson; his companion, Wanda Mort; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His twinkling blue eyes and spark for life will be missed by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S. Lincoln in Jerome. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, in the Jerome LDS 5th Ward Chapel, 50 E. 100 S. of Jerome, with Bishop Jordan Leak officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Jerome Cemetery.
