Ronald Buster

Ronald Claude Buster, 79, of Jerome, ID passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Creekside Residential Care Center. He was born on March 22, 1941 to Gene Buster and May Gillespie in Salmon, ID.  Ron graduated from high school in 1959 from Mackay, ID.  He then joined the United States Air Force from 1959-1963.

In 1963, Ron moved to Twin Falls, ID where he remained a long-time resident, working in the automobile industry.  While living in Twin Falls, Ron met and married Karlyen “Karrie” Hettenbach, they had two children together, Rondel Irene Buster and Mellonie Salas, they were later divorced. He then met and married the love of his life, Susan E. Watson, in 1972.

Ron loved his family, camping, coaching various sports, basketball, weightlifting, horseshoes, playing pool, and the Chicago Bears.  He loved to joke and always had a big smile for everyone he came across.  He will be greatly missed.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his children, Mellonie Salas and her husband Eddie; Michael Buster and his wife Lesa; and Ryan Buster; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Barbara Fisher and Kathy Winson.  He was predeceased by his parents Gene Buster and May Gillespie; and daughter Rondel Buster.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date due to COVID restrictions.
