Patricia Rudd

January 5, 1936 — February 2, 2017

Ms. Patricia L. Rudd of Jerome left to be with her Heavenly family early Thursday morning February 2, 2017 at her home.

She was born on January 5, 1936 in Marion, Indiana to Jesse Allen Ellis and Nannie Mae Williams Ellis. At the age of 9 she moved with her family to Los Angeles, California. At the age of 18 she met and married Earl D. Lewis and together they had three children. Her children were her life. In 1969 the family moved to Idaho, settling in Jerome. This is where she started her work career beginning with Troy National Laundry, then to the Tupperware Plant until its closing, then back to Gem Linen until retirement. She then helped her son and daughter-in-law at the Jerome Laundromat for several years.

Patricia also cared for her step father, Ralph Parson, and her mother for many years (lots of trips to Jackpot). She always welcomed her kids, grandkids and great grandkids as well as friends into her home and heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step father; three brothers; one sister; and son, Duane Lewis.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Kilburn (Robert Captain) of Angola, New York; son, Eric (Marlene) Lewis of Jerome, Idaho; six granddaughters: Tennille (Jeremy) Hadaway, Chandra Felder, Trysha (Shane) Danzey, Jacquelyn Kilburn, Keni (Ryan) Jackson, and Jill (Buddy) Huey; two adopted grandsons, Alex and Bly Captain; and sixteen great grandkids.

Special thanks to Hospice Vision for their care in the last few weeks.

Graveside service at Jerome Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Patricia's memorial webpage at www.farnsworthmortuary.com.
