Richfield- Nancy Lee Swainston, 69, of Richfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday July 29, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born June 27, 1947, in Seattle, Washington, and was raised in Richfield, Idaho by her parents, Jack McKeegan and Georgia Luella Wickersham McKeegan. Nancy graduated from Richfield High School and on October 19, 1966, she married Ross Wyn Swainston. They made their home in Richfield where they raised five children. Nancy enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dancing and she had a great love of music. She especially loved painting and had a gift for landscapes and scenery. She was always the life of the party, loved people and will be remembered for infectious laugh.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Ross Wyn of Richfield; four children, Tracy (Carol) Swainston of Twin Falls, Kara (Lee) Eldredge of Wendell, Lindsi (Sein) Brown of Boise and Kimber (Ross) Granden of Richfield. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Glade B. Swainston; her sister, Janet Berry and her brother, David Estock.
A visitation will be held Friday evening, August 5, 2016 , at the Richfield LDS Church, Hwy 93, Richfield, Idaho, where family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. , Saturday August 6, 2016 , also in the Richfield LDS Church, with Bishop Delbert Tree officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Richfield Cemetery. In honor of her "sunny" personality, please dress colorfully for her services! Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
