Michelle Kerley

Jerome- Michelle Marie Kerley, 58, of Jerome, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday December 13, 2014.  She was born August 5, 1956, at Ft. Ord, California, the second of four children born to Lloyd Everett Woodhouse and Juana "JoAnn" Ensunsa Woodhouse.  Lloyd's military career took the family around the globe and they eventually settled in Jerome.  Michelle married Mark Kerley and they made their home in Jerome where they raised two children.  Michelle enjoyed traveling but especially loved spending time with her grandkids.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in a variety of callings.  She was blessed with a "Servant's Heart" and was constantly found doing acts of service and kindness for others.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Mark Kerley of Jerome; their children, Meagan (James) Rasmussen of Rupert and Michael Kerley of Phoenix; her grandchildren, Naleah, Jimmy, Jericho and Jadiah;  two sisters, Molly (Gary) Brown of Vancouver, WA and Rosemary (Joe) Walker of Houston, TX; and many extended family members and friends.  She is preceded in death  by her parents and her brother, Dan Woodhouse.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday December 19, 2014, in the Jerome LDS 10th Ward Chapel, 825 East Avenue B, Jerome, with Bishop Ed King officiating.  A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Jerome Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
