Mark H. Garside, 67, of Boise, Idaho and formerly of Bakersfield, California passed away Sunday January 14, 2018 in Boise, Idaho. He was born September 26, 1950 in Bakersfield, California, the son of Ralph and Frances Garside formerly of Jerome, Idaho.
He was raised in California, along with his two brothers, where he excelled in athletics, eventually playing baseball for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was also a proud Air Force Veteran, serving in Vietnam in the 944 th Cargo Aero Squadron and the 445 th Aero Squadron. He helped raise two daughters and a step-son in Boise, Idaho with his former wife, Lynda Garside.
Mark spent the majority of his life as a Veterinarian Pharmaceuticals Salesman traveling through the Western United States and building relationships with many farms and businesses. He always enjoyed athletics whether it was watching sports, helping to coach his daughters’ endeavors or playing a round of golf.
Mark is survived by his daughters, Lynlee Garside of Boise, Idaho and Katlyn Garside of Seattle, Washington; and his two brothers, Ron (Pamela) Garside of Gardenerville, Nevada and Kelly (Patricia) Garside of Boulder, Wyoming. He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Frances Garside.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Jerome Cemetery, Jerome, Idaho.
