Marian Halleran

Marian Audrey Halleran (nee Strohmeier), 97, of Buhl, passed away on January 25, 2022 in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Born April 8, 1924 in Union City, New Jersey, to Kathryn Mildred and Gustav Adolf Strohmeier, she was the baby sister to Ernest and Mildred. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church.

On April 22, 1945, Marian married her longtime pen-pal, Charles Stringham Halleran.  Marian and Charlie had two children and had been married for 60 years when Charlie went to be with Jesus.  Marian was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith (Glenn) Elwell; son, John (Pamela) Halleran; 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church in Filer, Idaho with Pastor Paul Johnson presiding.
