Lulu Belle "Lu" Northrop

Lulu Belle Northrop “Lu”, age 85, of Jerome, ID passed away peacefully at her home on February 10, 2022. Lu was born on May 14, 1936, in Knox, IN to Elmer Chapman and Daisy Cole Chapman, both deceased. She is survived by four of her six children, Leroy West, Rhonda Neumann, Ralph West and Lori Kulm. Lu had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lu was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jess Northrop; and many family members including her son, Randy West; her daughter, Shelly Messersmith; her granddaughter, Jessy Messersmith; her sisters, Judy Walters and Helen Meyer; and her brothers, Ralph Chapman, Leslie Chapman, Weldon Chapman, and Ed Chapman.

Lu enjoyed camping and gardening in her younger years, later in life she enjoyed chatting with friends and family over a cup of coffee.
