Louis Dilka

Jerome- Louis Eugene Dilka, 76, of Jerome, passed away Friday February 26, 2016, in Twin Falls.  He was born April 27, 1939, in Greeley, Colorado, the son of Louis A. Dilka and Vivian I. Pierson Dilka.  At age 8, Gene moved with his family to Idaho.  He attended school in Murtaugh.  Gene loved to rodeo and he enjoyed working on hot rods and belonged to the Scavengers car club of Twin Falls.  He also enjoyed being outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.

Gene is survived by his brother, Rick (Barbara) Dilka of Twin Falls, one sister, Sherry Dilka of Coos Bay, OR, and many extended family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Jo and Wanda Mae, two brothers, Orvis LeRoy "Sonny" and Orlan Ray.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. , Saturday March 5, 2016 , at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome.  Interment will follow in the Twin Falls Cemetery.
