Lorean Fouts

Lorean, known to some as “Queenie”, a kind, loving, beautiful lady went home to the Lord on August 4, 2021. She was born to David Henry and Delphia Ann Kennison on April 15, 1924 in Jerome, Idaho where she was raised.

As a girl, she babysat in trade for piano lessons. She became an excellent violinist and performed solos in church. She was married to Pete Smith on February 21, 1941 until his passing on July 14, 1979. She later married Raymond Fouts until his passing.

During her life she was a wonderful mother and raised her five children with love. She was a great seamstress, and her hobbies were fishing, reading, crocheting, going on outings with her friends, and lunches at the Senior Center. She also worked at Tupperware for many years until her retirement.

Lorean is survived by her children, Joanne (Ron) Hulinsky, Kathy Perme (Steve Owens), Mike (Billie) Smith, and Bob (Delores) Smith; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers; two sisters; her two husbands, Pete Smith and Bud Fouts; granddaughter, Launa; daughters-in-law, Linda and Sandy; grandson, Trevor; and son, Fred.

Lorean will be missed by all, especially her granddaughter, Chelsea, who stayed with her to the end.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 9, 2021, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Graveside service will conclude at Jerome Cemetery.
