Lloyd Wiersema

Lloyd Wiersema of Jerome, Idaho went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 19, 2017, surrounded by his family.  Lloyd was born on December 17, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harm and Pearle (Van Der Maarel) Wiersema.

Lloyd worked for his father on the family dairy in Chino, California, honing his skills as a gifted dairyman. In 1970 he left Chino for Jerome, Idaho to start his own dairy business. Lloyd's sense of humor was legendary. He always had a way to make a person smile and had a personality matched only in size by his heart.

Lloyd is survived by his brother, Harry; sisters, Clarene and Pearle; along with his children, Kurt, John, Suzanne, Becky, Sonny, Rachel and Andrew; and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Ruby. Lloyd leaves behind memories that will be cherished for a lifetime by those who had the privilege to know him.

Funeral services for Lloyd will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln, Jerome. Graveside services will conclude at Jerome Cemetery.
