Jerome- Lillious E. Linch, 100, of Jerome, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday October 20, 2015. He was born November 27, 1914, in Greely, Colorado, the son of Alfred Tony Linch and Josie Ellen Hyson Linch. In 1935, he moved to Jerome. He married the love of his life, Edria Crisp, in 1937, and together they had four children. Lillious was a hard worker and farmed, ranched, worked on the railroad, at the canal company, and at the creamery. He had his own truck and hauled milk all around the Magic Valley. After farming west of Jerome for 25 years, he moved in to town in 1966, where he lived until his passing. He was even mowing his own lawn up until last Summer and was often seen driving his golf cart to Wal-Mart.
Lillious is survived by three children; Kareldeen (Ed) Nixon, of Bullhead City, Arizona, Arleda (Bob) Corr, of Garden Valley, and Emery Linch of Jerome. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, one sister, extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Edria and one son and three brothers.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday October 26, 2015, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Jerome Cemetery, 901 West Avenue I, Jerome.
