Kathleen Watkins

Twin Falls- Kathleen Kay Watkins, 59, of Twin Falls, passed away at her home on Friday August 14, 2015.  She was born July 3, 1956, in Twin Falls, the daughter of Evelyn and Roger Fiala.  Kathleen was raised in Jerome and graduated from Jerome High School in 1974.  On August 18, 1991, she married Bill Watkins.  They made their home in Twin Falls where they raised three sons.  Kathleen spent several years working at KMVT television studios in Twin Falls where she was involved with producing the news.  It was a job she enjoyed immensely.  She enjoyed reading and motorcycle riding.  Mostly, she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.  Being a grandmother was her favorite and she enjoyed spending time with all nine of her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Bill Watkins;  their sons, Christopher Berkley, Travis (Teresa) Berkley and Will (Tammy) Watkins;  her grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, Jaden, Jorden, Gabriel, Gweneth, William, Bentley and Porter; her mother, Evelyn Fiala; her mother-in-law, Lillian Watkins; two sisters, Rosann Fiala and Edie Waite; one brother, David (Marilyn) Fiala; two sisters-in-law, Linda Haas and Renee (Alan) Meyer; two brothers-in-law, Budd Watkins and Jim Watkins; and many extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Fiala; her father-in-law, Bud Watkins; and her brother-in-law, Rodney Waite.

A visitation will be held Friday evening at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 PM .

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:oo AM, Saturday August 22, 2015 , also at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln Ave., Jerome.  Kathleen's family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her name to:  Relay for Life, Attn; Julie Washington, 2676 Vista Ave, Boise, ID 83705.
