Karl F. Ward, 79, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away at his home December 4, 2023. Karl was born to George and Evelina Ward on March 29, 1944, in Albany, New York.
Karl lived a full and interesting life. He worked in many different capacities throughout the years, but that is not what life should be about. It should be about adventure and living, and he lived. Karl was always tinkering with something or building things. If you needed something built, fixed, or done he could figure it out. From racing for pink slips, a pet black panther or breakfast with Elvis, Karl’s stories sometimes seemed too fantastic to be true. Then, much like the movie Big Fish, some little thing would happen to prove his story and remind you that life isn’t always as it seems.
Karl is survived by his wife, Julia; children, Tabitha (James), Roman, David, Trina, and Julie; stepchildren, Paul (Pat), Roy, Carol (Ray), Carrie (Bud), Casey, and Jason (Bernice); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
