Karl L. Martin

July 16, 1958 — April 8, 2025

TWIN FALLS

Karl Lawrence Martin, 66, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2025. Born on July 16, 1958 as the oldest son, and one of five children of Joyce and Kenneth Martin.

Karl grew up enjoying the farm life in Eden and later in Jerome graduating from Jerome High School. He completed some college in Boise and was certified in Heating and Air Conditioning. He worked in different trades and in truck driving at various times in his life.

Karl touched many lives with his kindness and laughter and always brought along his unending sense of humor. He loved going on adventures all around Idaho, including fishing, skiing and hanging out with friends. He turned ordinary moments in extra ordinary fun…in his younger years he was nick-named “Merlin the Magician.” Although Karl experienced his share of challenges in this life, we know he has passed on to a place of peace and rest.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; and his sister, Roxanne.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Martin; his brother, Kelly Martin; two sisters, Karrin Archer and Kristi Martin; along with two nieces and two nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 25, 2025, at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 216 2nd Ave E, Jerome. Luncheon will follow directly after at the Parish Hall.
