Karen Sue Tate

Karen Sue Tate, 59, of Twin Falls, passed away on June 9, 2023, at her home in Jerome, Idaho. She was born March 24, 1964, to Damon Rutherford and Doris Hall in Twin Falls, Idaho. She married James Tate on October 24, 1987, and later divorced.

Karen worked as a secretary for The Sprinkler Shop for 12 years. She fulfilled her dream of becoming a Medical Assistant and graduated with honors from MTI College on September 24, 2004. She also worked for San Quentin for 6 years. Karen enjoyed spending time with loved ones and taking care of those around her. 

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Damon and Doris; her son Jordan Tate; and her sister Pamela Erling.

She is survived by her children, Kira (John, Jr.) Eastman and Tyson Wageman; sisters, Janice Putzier and Nancy Rutherford; and grandchild, John Stanley Eastman III.
