June Rands

Shoshone- June W. Rands, 93, of Shoshone, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday October 17, 2015. She was born May 28, 1922, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Lawrence David Willard and Mary Marinda Andersen Willard. June was raised in Wendell, Idaho and attended schools there. She married Lawrence Edward Rands and they raised three sons. June was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in a variety of callings. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, gardening, home canning, and cooking. She is survived by her sons, David, Marvin and Kelvin; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday November 5, 2015, in the Shoshone LDS Church, 507 North Greenwood, Shoshone. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Shoshone Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
