Julie Stadelman, 64, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Julie was born on July 7, 1960, in Moscow, Idaho, to Denny and Koreen Naylor. In 1961, her family moved to California, where she spent the early years of her childhood, before returning to Moscow in 1966. It was there that she spent the remainder of her youth, forming lifelong friendships and graduating from Moscow High School in 1978.
Julie attended the University of Idaho and became a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. In 1980, she transferred to Oregon State University, where she met her future husband, Alan Stadelman. She graduated from Oregon State with a Bachelor's degree in Food Science in 1982, and soon after, she worked at Grandma’s Cookies while living on the Stadelman farm.
Julie and Alan married on June 4, 1983, and in February of 1984, they moved to Jerome, Idaho. Julie began working at Clear Springs Foods for the federal government, eventually transitioning into the Quality Assurance department at Clear Springs Foods, where she retired as the Vice President of Quality Control in December 2023.
Julie’s life was centered around her family, and she was especially devoted to her children, Sarah and Sean. Her love for her family extended beyond her immediate household to her friends and colleagues, as Julie’s caring nature touched everyone she met.
Julie was an active and dedicated member of her community. She joined the Optimist Club in 1995, where she volunteered, chaired projects, and formed many deep friendships. She was also a committed member of the Jerome First United Methodist Church until its closure in 2021, after which she transferred her membership to the local Catholic church. Julie was also a member of PEO, joining in 2005, and remained an active participant until her passing. She enjoyed attending fundraisers, participating in relays, visiting the farmers market, traveling, and supporting causes close to her heart.
Julie was known for her compassion, generosity, and ability to bring happiness to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
