Judy Poulsen

Jerome- Judy Lynn Poulsen, 56, of Jerome, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday October 26, 2016.  She was born July 3, 1960, in Heidelberg, Germany, the daughter of Steven Ken Dudley and Kathleen Hepworth Dudley.  Judy was raised all over the world in a military family but eventually settled in Idaho where she graduated from Hansen High School in 1978.  She then attended the College of Southern Idaho where she earned a degree in nursing.  Most of her working years were spent as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Hospital.  Judy married Blake Poulsen and they raised five children.  She enjoyed camping and boating and spending time with her family.  She loved to make people happy.  Judy is a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her husband, Blake Poulsen; their children, Jeff (Jamie) Poulsen, Camie (Cameron) Elison, Branden (Maria) Poulsen, Melina Leigh and Michelle Hodnett.  She is also survived by her mother, Kathleen (Hal) Rogers;  15 grandchildren; two brothers, Stephen (Shirley) Dudley and Rick (Sarah) Dudley; and many extended family members and friends.  She is preceded in death by her father.

A visitation will be held Monday evening, October 31, 2016, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. , Tuesday November 1, 2016, at the Jerome LDS 5th Ward Chapel, 50 East 100 South, Jerome, with Bishop Jerry Callen, Jr., officiating.  A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Jerome Cemetery.
