Bliss- Jack Eugene Grammer, 84, of Bliss, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday June 9, 2016. He was born August 28, 1931, in Benton, Illinois, the son of Carl Grammer and Myrtle Landreth Grammer. The family settled in Wendell, Idaho, where Jack was raised and graduated from high school. He served his country in the United States Navy and following an honorable discharge, returned to Wendell. Most of Jack's working years were spent as a contractor/builder/architect with Clark and Sliman. Many Gooding county homes and buildings were designed by Jack. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, for many years, Jack was very active in his ministry and served as an Elder in the Wendell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and conducted numerous Bible studies bringing many closer to their Creator. He died a faithful witness to his God, Jehovah. Jack is survived by his wife, Kathy Grammer; his daughter and two sons; and his granddaughter, Kendall. He is preceded in death by two sons and his former wife Beverly. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. , Saturday June 18, 2016 , in the Wendell High School auditorium, 850 East main St., Wendell, Idaho.
