Herman Krueger

Jerome- Herman L. Krueger, Jr., 87, of Jerome, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday February 2, 2016, surrounded by his family.  He was born December 8, 1928, in Sidney, Nebraska, the son of Herman L. Krueger, Sr., and Nettie May Wycoff Krueger.  Herman was raised in California and graduated from Chaffey High School and Chaffey College in Ontario, California.  He met Dorothy Westlake and they were married November 24, 1949, in Yuma, Arizona.  They settled in Jerome where they raised two children.  Most of Herman's working years were spent on his dairy farm West of Jerome.  He loved camping and fishing and especially enjoyed taking a drive and sight-seeing.

Herman is survived by his sweetheart of 66 years, Dorothy Krueger; their children, Barney (Vicki) Krueger and Shirley (Garth) Heath, all of Jerome; three grandchildren, Mike, Tracy and Michael; four great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

A visitation will be held this evening, Thursday February 4, 2016 , at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, where family and friends may call from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. , Friday February 5, 2016 , also at Farnsworth Mortuary, with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Jerome Cemetery.
