DIETRICH - Harold passed away on June 23, 2015 and has now been reunited with his loving wife, Jeanette, who also passed just two months ago on April 22, 2015. They spent 49 marvelous years together raising their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
They are survived by their children, Jane, Reda, Coral, Harold Lee Jr., Beth, Stephanie, Glenna, Lorna, and David. Extending beyond their children are thirty-four total grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. They are preceded in death by their own parents and by two grandchildren.
Harold was born in August of 1942 and Jeanette was born in February of 1944. Their lives met at a church in Portland Oregon and they eventually married and were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on July 15 1966. Harold served an LDS Mission in Northern California, and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of Washington. Harold dedicated a lot of time to working with Family History. He passed away peacefully and of full conscience after a short two months of living without his beloved wife Jeanette.
Jeanette worked various jobs while dedicating time to do crafts and tend to her children. She was very creative and crafty with her day-to-day living. She loved to write, sing, sew, crochet, knit, garden, cook, and play games. Her life hit hardship after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her children when she passed in April 2015.
Jeanette was laid to rest on April 27th, 2015 in the newly established Dietrich Cemetery. Harold will join her on June 26th, 2015. A funeral is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Dietrich LDS Church, with a reception to follow in the same location.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Harold's life.
Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
