Fischer Thompson

Jerome-  Fischer Andrew "Fish" Thompson, 15, of Jerome, was taken, tragically, in a drowning accident on May 27, 2016, on the Middle Fork. He was born May 21, 2001, in Jerome, Idaho, the son of Terrisa Haycock and Joshua Thompson.

Fish was an incredibly loving young man who showed it to everyone and brought joy and comfort to all who knew him. He lived an incredibly full life and had very close relationships with his family members. Fish never knew a stranger and had many great friends in his life. He was the life of the party!

Fish played and excelled at organized sports. His favorite was baseball and he was famous for smacking bombs deep into the outfield, or making an impressive defensive play. He also loved to hike, go out to dinner, go camping, hang out with his friends, skateboard, go to concerts, joke around, have sleepovers, and do just about anything with his mommy, daddy, papa, nanny, gramma, brother or sisters or aunts and uncles. One of Fish's most favorite things to do was to give money to somebody in need. Tears would stream down his cheeks for several minutes after doing this. He was passionate about the less fortunate and refused to stand by while anyone was being teased. Fischer also had a strong love for his dogs, River and Sammy.

Fish would want all of us to carry on his legacy of love, hope, justice, and joy to all. Fischer, you will be truly and deeply missed by all who got the opportunity to know your gracious spirit. We love you, bubba.

Fischer is survived by his parents; two sisters, Savannah and Gera; one brother, Hendrik; his grandparents, Dee and Helen Haycock, his nanny, Helen Parris; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom were family. Fish is also survived by his best friend, Dillon Farnsworth.

A funeral service and celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. , Friday June 3, 2016 , at Life Church of the Magic Valley, 47 East Nez Perce (100 South), Jerome, with Pastor Clay Ramirez officiating.
