Everett W. Copenbarger

Everett W. Copenbarger, 87, of Wendell, died on January 26, 2025, in a Gooding care center surrounded by his family. He was born on April 14, 1937, in Buhl, Idaho, to Mother Bessie and later adopted by Charles Copenbarger.  

Everett was raised in Buhl and graduated from Buhl High School. He met and married his wife, Joyce Fish, at Sand Springs Ranch in Wendell 68 years ago. They have four children: Jeff (Patty) of Jerome, Idaho; Brenda Patterson (Bob) of Wendell, Idaho; Monte (Judy) of Wendell, Idaho; and Janet Connell (Jeff) of Shoshone, Idaho. He has 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lucinda Wright of Jerome, Idaho. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; his parents, two sisters, and one brother.  

The family is thankful for all the prayers, love, and visits from friends and family and the care and love given to him by the Bennett Hills staff.  

A Celebration of Everett’s Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Wendell Senior Center, 380 1st Ave E, Wendell, Idaho
