Delainie Justice Glodowski

Delainie Justice Glodowski born the 26th of March 1993 in Boise, Idaho, passed away at the age of 29 at her home in Brigham City, Utah on the 13th of February 2023.

Delainie attended grade school in both Jerome, Idaho and Kuna, Idaho. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 2011. She continued her education by attending the University of Idaho and Idaho State University. She earned her associates degree in Computer Aided Design Drafting, and her Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Resource Training and Development and business management. She then moved to Utah where she worked for Nucor Building Systems. Delainie then transitioned to Aerospace Engineering and Support Inc. as a Computer Aided Design Drafter and later, Scheduler.

Delainie bought her first home in Brigham City, Utah. It was a true ‘fixer upper’ and she was enjoying the task of making it her home.

The love of her life was her dog Duchess, or as she more commonly called her ‘Duchy’. Delainie rarely went anywhere without Duchess by her side. Duchess passed away the day after Delainie on the 14th of February 2023. They will be laid to rest together.

She loved to be outdoors, especially being in the mountains and at the beach. She however hated being out on the water as she was incredibly seasick, even standing on a dock at the lake.

Delainie possessed an extraordinary talent for capturing the world through her unique lens, finding beauty in the overlooked and expressing herself creatively through her writing and photography. Wherever she was or whatever she was doing, she stopped everything, and everyone to appreciate and photograph a sunset.

Delainie was proudly both a ‘tom-boy’ and a ‘girly-girl’. She could ride a motorcycle up a mountain to shoot a deer, gut it, haul it down the mountain and afterwards be in a full face of make-up, hair done, and in an evening gown ready to go out.

Delainie is survived by her dad, Dan; mom, Deborah; brother, Dallas; brother in-law, Alfonso; grandma, Beverly; grandma, Annie; aunt, Heather, and uncle, Greg and their children; aunt, Michelle and her children; uncle, Rob, and aunt, Kellie, and their children; and uncle, Ryan, and aunt Darynn and their children.

Delainie was preceded in death by her Grandpa, Jim; Grandpa, Tom; uncle, Christian; and cousin, Ammon.

A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Friday, February 17, 2023 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, with a viewing beginning at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Life Church of Magic Valley, 425 E Nez Perce St, Jerome, with graveside service concluding at Jerome Cemetery.
