Corrine McDowel

Jerome- Corrine Bell McDowell, 81, of Jerome, passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 8, 2015.  She was born June 9, 1933, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Henry Gray and Flora Davis Gray.  Corrine was raised in Southern California and attended schools there.  She married Bob Russell and they raised four daughters.  In 1971, they settled in Jerome.  Most of her working years were spent in the potato harvests and at Tupperware.  Later, she married Don Church.  Corrine enjoyed playing tennis and in her later years, she really enjoyed participating in activities at the Jerome Senior Center.

Corrine is survived by her children: Kitty Russell of Carson City, NV, Rhonda (Frank) Isaacs of Bliss, Roberta Russell of Jerome, Glenneda (Tom) Zuiderveld of Jerome, Tom Church of Buhl and Donna (Gary) Murphy of Cascade.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Elmo Gray and Arnold (Myrna) Gray, and many extended family members and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Bob Russell and Don Church.  A Celebration of Corrine's life will be conducted at 6:00 PM , Thursday June 18, 2015 , at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome, with Pastor Rob Heidemann officiating.
