Cheryl Fay Tippetts

Cheryl Fay Tippetts, 73, left this earth Saturday, September 23, 2023, for her eternal home in glory.

Cheryl was born and raised in the Bay Area in California along with her older brother and four younger sisters. Shortly after graduating high school, she married her high school sweetheart and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Although they had an amazing son together, Richard “Ricky” Weible, the marriage ended. She then began her career at K-Mart, which was just the beginning of a life of hard work supporting her children. Cheryl had twins Shaun and Shannon Tippets with Thomas Tippetts, whom she later married.

In 1989 Cheryl moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, with her twins to provide a better life for them. She lived her life for her three children and eight grandchildren. She loved life, but she loved her family more.

Cheryl left a legacy of love. Her favorite bible verse was 1 Corinthians 13:13 But now faith, hope, love abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. She loved everyone in her family and her friends with all that she had, and we are all better people for it.

Cheryl was empathetic and forgiving. She looked at life through a positive lens and with amazing humor, always appreciating her blessings. She had high hopes for everyone in her family but never looked down on them. She stood by your side through the highs and lows in life. Cheryl was an example to us all.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Andree; mother, Mary O Linda Plemmons; and her husband, Thomas Tippetts.

She is survived by her three children, Richard “Ricky” (Angela) Weible, Shannon (Stanley) Bell, and Shaun (Sohnsearae) Tippetts; brother, Ron; sisters, Jill, Diane, Donna, and Susan; and her eight grandchildren, Tyler, Mackenzie, Justin, Breanna, Hailey, Nick, Abigail, and Lillianna.
