Carolyn is a graduate of Jerome High School and studied at the College of Southern Idaho. She enjoyed pitching for many years as well as riding horses which led to rodeo queen honors.
In August 27 of 1971, she married her high school sweetheart, Glenn, and had one wonderful son, Chad in 1978.
Carolyn joined the Jerome School District in 1983. She was a valued team member who was loyal and dedicated to not only our students but to the Central and Summit family. In the many duties she covered, she never complained, yet worked tirelessly. Much of her time was spent working side by side with Leonard Horton. Over the years, she impacted the lives of many children with her patience and nurturing personality. Her infectious smile and sparkling eyes brought comfort to all who knew her. Nobody was ever short on Avon products if Carolyn could help it! She was always helping others and placing them first. Carolyn retired in 2016 and enjoyed being a mom, wife, daughter but most of all a grandma.
One final FISH flying to Carolyn, “ Thank you for all you’ve done for Summit! You’ve made us smile and you are a super beautiful lady!” SHOUT OUT TO CAROLYN! Forever in our hearts, Summit Strong!”
