Arthur Howard Cristler

Arthur “Art” Cristler passed away on February 13, 2025. Art was born January 1, 1948 in Buffalo, Wyoming to Howard L. and Rena "Doris" Cristler, and raised in Riverton, Wyoming.

After graduating from Riverton High School in 1966 he attended the University of Wyoming and then enlisted in the Army from 1969 through 1971, finishing with an honorable discharge. He then pursued a career in hardware retiring in 2013 with 35 plus years.

Art is survived by his wife, Joy Gertiser Cristler; son, Jeff (Sara) Cristler of Boise, ID; daughter, Jennifer (Nate) Raff of Twin Falls, ID; grandchildren, Chelsea, Zane, Andi, Nick, and Sadie; stepchildren, Wendy (Todd) Triplett of Roy, Utah; and Scott (Sara) Gertiser of Lancaster, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Doris Cristler; brothers, Jay and Paul Cristler; sisters, Marilyn Albright and Beverly Coburn; an infant sister, Linda Rae Cristler; and first wife, Janee' Cristler.

Art was loved by everyone who knew him. He enjoyed being around family and friends. May he rest in peace.
