Ardena Fultz “Granny”, age 90, passed away at St. Luke’s Twin Falls surrounded by her loving family on April 12, 2018.

Granny was born to John and Orpha Johnson in Osage, Arkansas on February 28, 1928. She married the love of her life, Arthur Fultz, on March 19, 1947. Together they moved to Jerome, Idaho in 1952, which has been her home ever since. During her time here, she was employed by Woodruff’s Seed, Jerome Canal Company, Jerome Library, and St. Luke’s Jerome Family Clinic. Granny took a lot of pride in her work and was proud to serve Jerome County in these capacities.

Over the years, Granny’s favorite job was caring for her family. She was devoted to them and loved each of them with all of her heart. She never failed to appear at every family gathering with dumplings and energetic good-humor. In her free-time, she was also an avid gardener, camper, and outdoorsman. Many of her best memories were made outside, surrounded by family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Orpha Johnson, her siblings, Cleo Bartlett, Ruby Black, Elsie Underdown, Carlon Johnson, and Dess Johnson, her husband, Arthur Fultz, and her grandson, Gregory Stump.

Her memory lives on in her brother, Bill Johnson (Darlene Johnson); her children, Sharon Kay Stump (Richard Stump), Ken Fultz (Kim Fultz), James Fultz (Heather Fultz), and Dennis Fultz (Jennifer Fultz); her grandchildren, Darrin Stump (Maggie Stump), Angela Betty (Will Betty), Tara Fultz-Nunnelley (Cory Nunnelley), Alex Fultz (Erin Fultz), Ashley Fultz, Amber Fultz, Jamie Fultz, Chase Fultz, Austin Fultz, Evan Fultz, and Devany Fultz; her great-grandchildren, Riley Stump, Cierra Stump, Micaela Betty, Mathew Betty, Ryker Nunnelley, and Amelia Fultz; and her great great-grandchild, McKinlee Betty.

A viewing will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm, Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Farnsworth Mortuary with graveside services concluding at Jerome Cemetery.
