Anita Carolyn Imes Nutsch went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 30, 2024. Born on May 13, 1939, in Wendell, Idaho, to Leighton and Margaret Imes, Anita was the youngest of two children.
She graduated from Jerome High School and went on to get a bachelor's degree in Dietary Nutrition from Idaho State University. She joined the Air Force where she achieved the rank of Captain. While serving as a Dietician at Warner-Robins Air Force Base, she met Robert Hamlin. They were married on June 29, 1969, in Jerome, Idaho. In the following years, they were blessed with two children, Timothy Keith and Ruth Margaret.
On April 8, 1977, Anita married Carl A. Nutsch and became the stepmother to Carl Jr, Robert, Richard, Donna and Patrick. They soon added a daughter, Davina, and Anita enjoyed many years raising her eight children.
Anita was preceded in death by her brother, Lorrie; her parents; her husband, Carl, Sr; son, Carl, Jr., and daughter, Davina. She is survived by her first husband, Robert; sons Timothy, Robert, Richard and Patrick; daughters, Ruth and Donna; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank St. Paul's Lutheran Church, DeSano Place Village- Assisted Living & Memory Care and Horizon Home Health & Hospice Magic Valley for the excellent care throughout Anita's journey. A special note of gratitude goes to Robert and Trish Nutsch for the time, love and care they gave to Anita during the last few years of her life.
A viewing will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Monday, December 9, 2024 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jason Gullidge, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1301 N Davis St, Jerome. Graveside service will conclude at Jerome Cemetery.
