Ada Marie Mobley, age of 86, a lifelong daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away peacefully at her home in Jerome Idaho on March 24, 2025, where she had resided for over 60 years.
Ada was born on May 16, 1938, to Arthur and Helen Dey in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was a Licensed Cosmetologist and worked in retail services such as The Bon Marche, and later Macy’s for 30+ years while raising her five children.
Ada had a passion for dancing, singing and enjoyed spending time with her family and the love of her life Fred Starr. After meeting Fred, she enjoyed many hunting, fishing and outdoor adventures. She was also the life of the party, every Christmas Eve, whether family or not, she welcomed all to join her in her home.
Ada was preceded in death by her partner Fred Starr; parents; brothers, Raymond (Kathy) Dey, Gene (Loretta) Dey; two daughters, Terri (Randy) Elliot and Bobbie (Lynn) Weigt; granddaughter, Kristi (Weigt) Simmons; grandson, Kevin Weigt; and great granddaughter, Joslyn Johnson.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike Peterson and Tracey Chatterton; daughter, Leslie (Mobley) Jewel; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and her great-great grandchildren.
Ada’s sense of humor and spicy spirit will be missed tremendously by all who loved and knew her.
No services will be held per her request.
